The club maintains a bothy at Glas-Allt-Sheil near Lochnagar. It is at the rear of a lodge used by Prince Charles.

A few years ago club members designed and built a new bridge in Torridon.

Members sometimes organise trips abroad during the summer; the 1996 destinations were arctic Norway and the French Alps.
