18-20 January 2002Ling hut has alpine-style sleeping platforms, gas cookers, a toilet, and is generally well equipped. The walk-in is about 200m, but feels like 2km when you are carrying a keg of ale. It is ideally situated for Beinn Eighe and Liathach, plus Beinn Alligin.You will need maps Landranger 19, 24, 25, or Outdoor Leisure 8. The latter is useful as it also has Skye on the back, but despite the better scale some people find features harder to decipher. |
