Dundonnell

Dundonnell is situated right next to one of Scotland's last great wilderness areas, the Fisherfield Forest, starring one of Scotland's most distinctive mountains, An Teallach.

7-9 December 2001

The Smiddy is rather small but has cooking facilities and sleeping platforms. You'll be glad of the latter if the moat we dug fails and the hut floods again!

Accessible mountains include An Teallach. There's others too, but you won't be able to resist the temptation to climb An Teallach once you've seen it.

You will need map Landranger 19.
