This simple search routine has been written in Perl script to allow you to search our indexes to the Cave Radio and Electronics Group's Journal and Cave Survey Group's Newsletter by Author, by Subject or by Title. Over thirty Topics have been pre-coded.
The source files now include all papers published from Issue 1 (Autumn 1988) to Issue 37 (Sept. 1999) [Part I] and Issue 38 (Dec. 1999) to Issue 80 (December 2012) [Part II] of CREG Journal and these will continue to be updated from time to time.
The search options for Journal and Topic are cumulative but a General search will scan all fields in the master files including the text of both Title and Summary fields. All searches are case insensitive.
N.B. This project is still in development and some of the planned Topic (Subject) Codes are not yet implemented.
