Yorkshire cave areas: Selside
A path from Selside leads to
- Long Churn caves, much visited by novices
- Alum Pot, an impressive surface opening with an 80m shaft. There are
two main routes down although a connection from Lower Long Churn enters
half way down providing a third way in.
- Diccan, a wet route to the bottom of Alum Pot.
Access
There is a small charge for access to the land - call in at Selside Farm
across the road from the bottom of the road.
